Im afraid i may be experiencing an oil consumtion issue. I havent noticed a problem with my unit just yet, but i dont want to run into one, like a blown motor.

I have a 1997 Seadoo GTI, I have ran 3 tanks of gas over the last couple weeks, and my oil tank has not lost hardly any oil. I filled the oil to the brim on the first tank. After the 3 tanks of gas, i have not even lost an inch in the oil tank. I keep execting i would need more oil, but it is not dropping.

How much oil should it burn over 3 tanks of gas???

Maybe i have a problem already and dont know it.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Thank You All,

Demples

It's a variable injection system. It will inject anywhere from 100:1 to 40: at full throttle.

On my skis... they drink oil faster than in my boat... just because the skis see full throttle a lot.

If you are worried... do an oil system service. Change the filter, and the 2 small hoses between the pump and the manifold. Also, make sure the injection nipples are clear.

Now... you will have to bleed the system, and when you do... you will visually see the oil being pumped. As the little lines are being filled... they will pulse about 1/8" every second. If they do... you are good. If the don't... figure out why.
