I just bought a 1999 GTX RFI and it says to use Synthetic oil, which oil is the best? I'm currently using SeaDoo oil but Quicksilver also has a Synthetic PWC oil? Pro/Cons?

Thanks,
Ted

This is an old debate, and it's really up to you. As long as it API-TC you should be fine.

I recommend the SeaDoo oil, and if you buy a case, the shop will normally give you a discount.

The 3 oils you can safely use are the XPS, Quicksilver PWC, or Amsoil Interceptor.

I see it as brand preferance if you like seadoo use it but some people dont have a seadoo dealer close by so they use quicksilver. All the oil should be made to the same API service number. The only difference is the color of the bottle or synthetic or synth blend my 96 calls for full synthetic and i run quicksilver synth blend and it works and is cheaper.
