I'm still learning about the 2008 GTI SE 155 I bought. I understand checking the oil isn't as simple as pulling the dipstick and checking the level.... can anyone give me the basic procedure to check the oil?

Also, what is a procedure to properly winterize her? I've only had old 2 strokes before so this is new ground for me!! Loving the machine so far!!!

Not that we’re lazy, but those procedures are explained very precisely in your Operators Manual, your ski should have come with one but if not they are available for each particular ski on the Seadoo website.
If you have any particular questions after some reading feel free to ask again.

I didn't get a manual with my machine. I'm sorry, I simply like hearing from folks who have done it, know how to do it, etc. It usually is accompanied by little tips and tricks. Thanks for the reply, but if you didn't want to answer my question no reply would have been fine.

Sure,,,get a small level that will fit on top of your engine cover,,,start it up,,,let it run for 1 minute...turn it off,,,check the oil,,,

The reason checking the oil has to be done after warm up is because there isn’t a typical oil pan like a car. And as POPPS said, being level is important. The oil settles after sitting beyond where your dipstick can reach which causes people to think they are low on oil and overfill.
