Oil cable help on 1997 gti

I recently put in a engine in my 1997 GTI, and decided to put a dual carb set up from a 1994 Xp on it. A few problems came up with the choke and throttle cable but I was able to modify the old brackets. The problem now is, I have to get a oil cable... should I get the 1994 xp cable to go with the carbs or the 1997 to go with the engine????

Or.. Go premix.... Go with the that will reach to the pro carb and set accordingly.. No big deal, bud

Honestly, switch back to the single carb. The gain is minimal at best jumping to dual carbs. Both cables are different part#'s but I look the same-ish, length would be the difference. Sourcing the correct parts should be easy, not many guys beating the doors down for 94XP parts if you know what I mean.

I have a 94 XP here I could look at tomorrow, I think the air box might be off for pics.
