I have a 2005 GTX 4tec SC. Ski runs fine. I can warm it up for a few minutes, everything is good. If I run over 75% throttle then snap to idle, it will throw the oil pressure alarm. Both front and rear sensors have been replaced. If I run the ski at a 'lugging' speed, it will also throw the alarm eventually - after a minute or so. If I run the ski at 4k rpm or above, it will run for as long as you like.
If I stop the ski, unplug the DESS, and start it back up, everything is fine again until it meets one of the above conditions.
I'm considering finding a place to tap a real pressure gauge in and actually watch what is happening. I have seen a number of things it COULD be, but wanted to look here for advice first.
Let me know if I can test anything or provide more info. Ski has about 240 hours on it. Ski is at the dock and I can pull the engine if I have to, but would rather not
