No water spitting out ?

Just had my 97 GTI services. Starts and runs great. The mechanic said the cooling lines were on backwards and switched them so the engine is cooled first, not the exhaust. Now when ir rund the ski i can not see water being spit out the outlet at the back of the ski. When i flushed it out though, it was coming out at a steady stream. Am i imagining things?

I would double check what he did. You should have water coming out the pee hole.
