no pusher in xp nose cone??

hey guys, just took the jet pump off of my 95 xp to just take a general look over everything, and also to change the jet pump fluid. question i have is when i took the nose cone off the pump there was no pusher assy, like my 98 gsx ltd has. is this just a model/few year difference, or dose it sound like some one had this apart before me and just not put it back together right, i looked in the shop manual and didn't see much info on it. thanks for any input guys great forum.

No. That model did not require a pusher.

You can get updated cones that are sopposed to increase performance of the pump, and I believe have this pusher you might be talking about.
