I have a 2006 wake seadoo no power up lights no crank I believe it’s the power cut off relay but I can’t locate it anywhere does anyone know where it’s located thanks

For 2006, the relay is internal to mpem. Could be the DESS post for that year is a common failure. Did you try to jump start the ski?

So your saying where I put key on that may be bad ?and this year relay is internal? Any help would be greatly appreciated I changed my starter relay and all the sudden no dash no beep nothing?

When you try to jump start the ski, you can very easily ruin the mpem which might be why you are now getting nothing when putting the key on.

There are 2 main 30 amp fuses near the solenoid. Make sure these are good and voltage is good on both sides of the fuses.

When you jump the solenoid, does there engine crank normally?

I didn’t try to jump start it until after this issue fuses are all good I’m going to test dess post today I’m hoping that’s my problem I tried to jump solenoid nothing

If you jump the solenoid and nothing happened, then you need to figure out why before doing anything else. It should crank over when jumping the solenoid.

No nothing I have 12.5 volts I jump it and nothing so not sure where to go from here any ideas would be appreciated buddy

Jumping the solenoid means to short out the two main contacts of the starter relay with a pliers or screwdriver. It will spark and arc but it should turn the engine over. Is this what you are doing and nothing is happening? Is your battery good? What is the exact voltage? Check voltage at the solenoid while jumping it as well.

If it doesn't turn over and you have verified all your cables and connections are good, then your starter is bad if it isn't doing anything.

Voltage is 12.5 when jumping no arc nothing at all.if the starter is bad would it keep panel from lightning up and keep it from beeping?

No, that's a separate problem and concerned you created that bigger problem if you fried your mpem or ECU when you tried to jump start it which is why it won't come to life or beep.

I charged the battery two days ago it was 12.5 volts when I installed it but I checked it today and there’s only 11 volts so my battery is shot does it actually take 12 volts to light up the dash and beep ? And when I jumped it I used a charger.but the problem was already happening before I jumped it
