Newbie to the Forum, Need advice on what to buy next

Hey all, I currently have 2 '02 GTX-DI machines and I absolutely love them. The problem is, I allways have people coming to the lake house that have never been on the water before, but expect to ride them as soon as they get there. I'm afraid someone is going to get hurt on the water, so I'm thinking of selling them and buy a used Sea Doo boat instead. My theory there is, I'll be driving it and it will eliminate the novice driver on the water. I guess my question is, what boat should I be looking at? There is an '01 Challenger 1800 for sale near my house. It has the 210hp motor in it, but from what I have read the 240hp motor is the more desirable of the options. Is this because of reliability or just the missing 30hp? I really like the islandia, but they are pretty hard to find. Got any suggestions?

I have both an islandia and a pontoon - because we have a young family both are great. however, we spend most of our time on the islandia. It's purpose built for families - great design, relatively safe and extremely fun to enjoy on the water. They are hard to find, but keep looking. We bought ours off of craigslist, but you'll see them on eBay as well - take your time and you'll find a great boat.

Relax and don't jump on the first one you see...season is just starting. Soon there will be lots of craft for sale.
