We are starting to look with intent to buy an 150 speedster with the 155 engine.
Is there a guide on how to do the compression test? what are the expected numbers for this engine? do you need to have a hose connected while doing this? how do you make sure there is no oil in the cylinder?
last time I compression tested a motor (LONG time ago):
disconnect plug boots and run to ground
remove both plugs
connect meter
throttle fully open
turn starter 2-4 rotation
read value - within 5% of opposing cylinder, 10% of factory new value.
