2005 seadoo, wake : Full service $129.00, rectorfier,$156.00, pump housing 199.00, wearing $65.00, he had 3 hours for technical service time/ $205.00 plus parts above was $549.00/ total $754.00, he knocked off $50.00 and I paid a total of $700.00 for the above...........

so was my dealler in line, next day service in an out and provided trailer to bring unit to him and take home, (I did the transporting).

one quick tech question, the red light on the screen that was flashing b4 he replaced the rectifier, when it flashes is that just a alert that there is a problem somewhere in the machine not just ele.

thanks more question to come

Well…

I’m going to assume you had things wrong with the boat. IF… there were problems, the prices you listed seemed right for a dealer.

If you were able to do the repairs yourself… you could have saved a bunch of $$$. The wear ring could be bought on line for about $35… and the rectifier would be around $100. Not sure what they did on the “Full service”… but I’m sure you could have saved there too.

But… the dealer wasn’t out of line.

charges

the unit was just purchased and I knew something was horribly wrong, not a clue, sence I have no friends who preform there own service work or much of a understanding on my part as to the principle of the unit it was a must i take it to a repair person, so i chose a seadoo dealler..

i look forward to using this site for info
