Newbie Needing Advise

Hi guys, purchased a 98 Seadoo GTX on Friday that had a bad motor. I pulled the motor and thought I would do a rebuild but after pricing out the upper and lower parts I may opt to buying a rebuilt unit that offers a warranty. Looking for advise on reputable sellers for rebuilt motor and other parts. Thanks.

Personally I would recommend SBT, the have a good product and good people to deal with. I would get the premium engine with a 2 year no-fault warranty. You can have a rebuilt unit in just a few days, and you can be back in the water this season.

Thanks Lou. I did discover SBT and they look to have good pricing and reputable. Is te Preminum motor the same as the standard but with a longer warranty?

No, I think they use better parts on the premium engine, crank bearings and piston rods.
