New with question--see pic

Looking at a used 2010 RXT-X-260 AS , that may pick up today.

I am noticing these pieces added that I don't see on other Seadoos, I think they are some kind of stabilzer on each side of the rear. Can someone tell me what these are and are they any good or use full. I also noticed the previous owner upgraded to the new Sponsons. I assume that is a worthy upgrade.

I have never seen the items in pic #1, looks like some kind of extended trim tab.
are they stamped with RIVA or R&D somewhere on them?

the sponson's, I installed them on my 08 and they totally, completely resolved my complaints about poor handling especially at low speeds, I also think they slightly improved my carving for tight river rides, no washout at all, and it hasn't hooked me yet. Expensive option, cost me over $300 for the sponson's alone.

Trim tabs and sponsons all factory no aftermarket. The trim tabs are installed on the suspension skis not sure why. The sponsons are the upgraded version that comes on the suspension skis and the RXT-X and RXP-X models.

I thought they started doing the sponson's with the "fin" in 2012... but that could be just my lack of info, I order the 2012 sponsons to put on my 08. I didn't look up 2010.

Umm...I have a suspension ski 09 RXTIS and neither the trim tabs nor that type of sponson is on my ski. Is this something new?
