This is my third sea doo. I've only owned sea doo but grew up boating on several makes. I loved my first one and have stuck with them. I was reading the forums due to my battery dying and leaving me stranded (which cost me $320 for a jump start through boatus due to not seeing another boater for over an hour at dusk). I saw the post about adding a second battery and how challenger01 did it: http://www.seadooforum.com/showthre...hallenger-2000&p=180368&viewfull=1#post180368 I like it alot a did a lot of googling and think i'm going to do it as well but i think i'm going to use an Automatic Charging Relay. Its a little more expensive but you don't have to worry about changing which battery your using, so if i drink too much and forget (i will have a sober captain at the ready prior to that happening) or let someone borrow my boat i won't have to worry about them running the battery dead. However, I am going to upgrade my boatus yearly membership from 24 a year to 73 a year for the unlimited jump start/towing.

Welcome aboard and hanks for joining,,,

A properly wire second battery can be a huge bonus. When I had my Searay I had three. One did nothing but wait at the ready. It fed nothing until I flipped a switch and basically took a diode out of the output path. I bet it saved me 10 times in the many years I had that boat.
