Hey everyone
I just bought my first jetboat... a 1997 Challenger 1800 with the twin 110hp engines. The interior is in perfect shape, and it has a few extras like a bimini and hydroturf
I only had it out once so far, and it reached 55mph with 5 people in the boat... I was very happy with this! (Even though it was the speedo reading and not GPS)
The boat's steering is stiff in one direction when its at speed (turns fine when stopped), and one engine revs up higher than the other. As I found out on this forum, it seems like that is because one of my wear rings is cracked. So, I ordered new wear rings, neoprene seals, and Solas Concord 15/23 impellers to hopefully fix both of those issues, and maybe even give me more extra speed.
This is definitely the best forum for SeaDoo boats that I have found, and I am happy to be a part of it!
