New to the forum and boating (Merritt Island, FL)

Hello everyone, my name is Frank and my wife and I are in the middle of purchasing a 1995 Sea-Doo Speedster. I found this forum hoping someone can help me out a bit. I have found it impossible to find parts for this boat. I need to track down a new Rub Rail because it is missing a section. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can locate this part?

Is it a 1995 as in your avatar or a 2005 as in your post? Do you need the inner and outer bumper?

For the 95 the Outer is part #291000600 Inner is 291000601. I doubt that any dealers will have this, you can try ebay or PM Minnetonka4me and see if he has anything.

To find the part numbers you can go to the top of the page and click on OEM parts, select your year make and model then scroll through for the parts your looking for.

It is a 1995, thank you for pointing that out (I just fixed it). All I can find on eBay is bumpers for a jet ski. I need the outer.

I saw that PaleRider had some boat parts as well.

You might find replacement rub-rail here, but it ain't cheep.

The 95 is an interesting boat for sure. I think....my brother might have that rub rail for you. Problem is it wraps ALL the way around the boat. Private message 99spxxx and ask him.

Me and a buddy fixed one up last year....we put a LOT of time replacing both motors, both control cables, both props, etc. Luckily it was in good shape. It almost got butchered by the previous owner who was planning on doing a camo paint job over everything!
