Sounds like you are getting there. But we need pictures for proof! ;)

I would need a really wide angle lens to get all the parts strewn all over the shop. LOL However... I will accommodate. :) If I find my Flex Additive I may well do some painting today. I was looking for the purple exhaust paint but couldn't find it. I'd like to keep the colors close to stock.

I use the Valspar sumptuous purple satin on my exhaust. Very close to stock. I think from Lowes. You do not need heat paint.

I was at Lowe's and looked at that paint but wasn't sure it would work. Thanks for the tip. I thought about taking pictures yesterday as I was painting. The weather is causing issues with my completion time but this thing isn't going inthe boat show. :) Problems is... I hope the Shiny Green doesn't overpower the weathered white because am NOT painting the white. :) I will clean it up though.

All the parts have arrived so start up is near. Perhaps tomorrow. :) I will post a few pictures by then.

Well here are a couple of pictures. I really don't like painting. I'm not set up for it and it is a lot of work to do it correctly but the Ski will look more appealing.

It's alive !!!!!!!!!!!

I don't add up the hours I spend and that is a good thing... I also don't add up the money I spend either. :) i clean up as I go and address shoddy workmanship as I go so my process is always slow. That said, after a long long day.... The ski fired up. I got spark !! I still have some assembly with the covers, gauges, and such. What I didn't take apart, clean, remove the corrosion...?? Now i'm gonna assemble, compound and wax her up. Hope it floats. :D

Well the Ski Doo is really close. I am still concerned that I have to remove the key and reinstall to get it to start but... this baby does crank and run.

The issue with the DESS KEY is I get a "no spark" so it won't start. I remove the key and reinstall the key and it starts right up. Not sure the reason but I tested the DC CDI (replaced it) and the MPEM which I did not replace.
