New Seadoo owner from Missouri

Just wanted to say hi to everyone and let you know a little about myself. I am not unfamiliar with jet craft as my primary vessel is a 2008 Yamaha AR230 that we use for surfing and water sports. I am also an owner of Gantlin Products which produces the Wake Wedge for Yamaha jet boats.

Anyways my screen name doesn't even come from the water world, I used this name when I used to ride ATV's. So it has been my screen name for a number of years.

With my purchase of a 96 XP and a 92 XP I look forward to learning all about these and having a blast out on the water.

Welcome to the best SeaDoo forum; a lot of great info and helpful people here.

Couple quick hints:

96 XP is subject to fuel tank recall; call local dealer with HIN and they can tell you if it has been done. If not done they will replace it no cost to you. Note that fuel tank problems mean leaks = "BOOM"

Read up here on fuel system cleanup. The problems generally lead to lean running which will kill the 2-strokes.
