Hey All
Love this site

I juust bought a new Gti se,will be picking up at dealer on april 1
I am just wondering about it sitting for 6 to 8 weeks after dealer doing
PDI on sea doo.
i live on the east coast of canada,still get's below freezeing at night,and it will be parked outdoors, should i be concerened with the cold temps on the
sea doo? it will not be in the water for at least 6 to 8 weeks, maybe mid
may.
Should i un hook battery,or should i start it up every week or so,without flushing for a min or 2

Congratulations and well done!

You're best to refer to any storage/fogging procedures direct from the Seadoo manual thats given to you with your new pwc or ask the people selling it to you.

Because it gets below freezing I'd imagine there'd be some sort of coolant to flush into the motor and procedure to stop the passages from freezing up.

With the battery, disconnect it and run a trickle charger on it when you're not using it-remember disconnect it completely, never charge it still connected otherwise you might damage any computer/mpem in the ski.
 
If that is your 09 your referring to as the new onw then youll be fine. The 4 strokes have a closed loop cooling system so no external water goes into the engine. The intercooler uses external water to cool it tho if it is a supercharged model. But if its never been in the water then your good
