Hello all looking forward to watching the boards. I'm a first time PWC owner and just purchased a matching set of 99 GTX RFI's. A am a long time boater and just stepped into a large cruiser so had to get something to play with the kids with.

We bought the two ski's knowing one had a problem the guy hadn't even tried to work on. The first ski runs great, 55 mph and 6600 RPM and that was cold.

The second ski will turn over, compression sounds good (hopefully getting tester tommorrow) has spark at the plugs (put in new) and battery is 100% and new. Just will not fire at all. Turns over just doesn't fire. In the old days of small motors I'd spray some starter fluid into the carb and feel like it would start immediately. Unhooking the fuel line I've got fuel running.

Any ideas before I start the repair bill running?

you say you got fuel coming from your lines that just proves your pump is pumping it might not be coming through your injectors disconect them from motor but still connected to fuel and electrics but make sure you ground your spark plug leads and give it a little crank over and then see if you've got fuel

Ok got the compression check done. Without and throttle and cold both plugs pulled 155 PSI. I will look into the injectors next, luckily I have a manual or wouldn't have a clue of where things are at.

Any other ideas?
