New Engine running in time ??

Rebuilt optimax 200 for Utopia 205, Mechanic told me to take my time for first tank of gas,
Does anyone know what revs or speed not to exeed and for how long?

Break in procedure

Break in procedure is as follows for the first three hours :

• Avoid long periods of idling
• Keep RPMs with in 3500 – 4500
• Change RPMs every min or so
• Make sure the ECM was set for the break in. This supplies extra oil to the gas for the first 120 mins

Thanks for the info,

Don't know about the ecu, dealer told me to put extra oil in the tank for the running in process.

Do you think that's ok?
