This weekend I took out my brand new 2009 GTX. We have a stretch of Intercoastal Waterway here in Daytona going towards the inlet where it is idle zone for about five miles (not much fun on a ski). I have 4 - 5 hours on my ski. I noticed that at very little throttle (maybe 2800 - 3500 RPM) the ski surges. I used a small stick in the throttle during the slow speed section to act as a cruise control, so the surging wasn't due to me moving the throttle, but it runs along like this: VROOOOoooooOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOOOoooooooMMMMMMmmmmm. It is kind of annoying. I think I also noticed it when running at about 25 mph on a plane. Is this normal? Thanks.
