No longer needed

If you need plugs Tig welded in call Percision FAbrication in Nokomis FL. Around $5 per plug if you remove old ones and grid down, I think they said around $13 ish if they need to also remove them

Hey, that is a good deal, and cheap! Cheaper than how I did it. Drilled and tapped the hole to around 3/8", put in stainless bolts 1" long, and used JB weld as "locktite" and then filled the remaining dimple inside with JB Weld.

Cost more to do it my "cheap way" than it did for you to get it done right!!!

I actully never use JB weld to fix anything, with me I want it done right the first time so that I do not have to do it again, I am painting the engine mercury racing blue and the exhaust aluminum and cleared this weekend!

I am excited to get at least one ski back on the water!

I also found the easiest and best way to clean the sealing lips of the two exhaust pipes is first remove the copper ring and then media or sand blast, this created the best cleaning method I found yet!

The JB weld wasn't the fix. The drill, tap, and threading in of a stainless bolt was the fix. The JB weld was just to keep the bolt from backing out, like loc-tite, and I just smeared the leftover around the bolt on the inside of the muffler just to use it up and keep water from settling directly onto the aluminum again.

I checked it out 2 years later, and all looks as good as the day I put it all in. 100% salt water use (my XP)
