Need some information

I have a running 1992 Seadoo bomardier SP 650 motor type 587, and a non running 1994 Seadoo bombardier SPX motor type 657.

My question is, can the motor from the 1992 go into the 1994 model? Any info would help

Yes... but your "SP 650 motor type 587" isn't a 650 engine. It's a 587.

To make it work... you will want to put all the new electronics on the old engine. (Flywheel, stator, etc)

What speed is the 657? Would it be better just to get a new motor? I was told the pistons need to be replaced. I paid 300 for the seadoo and trailer. Was mostly after the trailer. Does anyone know of a good place to get a motor?

I think an SBT 657 engine will cost you about $600.
