need some info on gtx limited

hey guys.. when i got my ski it never came with a gps.. i would like to know exactly the ski comes with from seadoo... i know its the garmin gpsmap 76.. but was there a cord also to connect to the computer on the ski?

Nope...it was just the 76 (or an etrex fits also) that snapped into a depression in the glove box lid. I myself purchased the lid offa '05 GTX so that I could place my 76 there for a stock look.

Great thanks man!! Btw do I have to put an antenna along with the unit?? And the 76 can tell accurate enough mph too right ??

I took a look at the eTrex..

Looks like the 10 and 20 have the same basic dimensions but the eTrex H model is wider on the top.

Am I correct? If so, can you confirm which eTrex models do fit.

No antennae...the reason most used a gps is for the accuracy of the gps. Not perfect...but a hell of a lot better than the oem dream-o-meter.

Sorry...been too long...if memory serves it only cost $99 where the 76 cost somethin like....$180? I'll look around a bit and see what I can find.

Looks like I'm mistaken in regards to the etrex fitting into the glove box...I apologize for that. From what I can find and remember...the etrex being less expensive was a good choice for those that rode rxp's....couldn't use the gtx lid so they put the etrex on a bar mount.
