I am looking to buy a 98 Challenger and am asking your opinion and experience

My boat is a 97 and it basically has been a good boat but now I have a big, big problem. One engine won't fire. Seadoo dealer is telling me I need a new MPEM. This part from seadoo is almost $1500.00. I believe an MPEM for a 98 is a different part number and I believe it is quite a bit cheaper. I would check and see how much a new MPEM for a 98 is first. You probably won't have a problem but you never know.
