Thanks for your reply. 1997 mpems are specific for that year. I wish your mpem would work for me. $1300.00 is a lot to spend on a mpem when the boat only cost me $5000.00! OUCH!!

You can find a used mpem for about $600-700 sbt has links to salvage yards on their page. Thats where I baught mine, but turns out Idont think I need it.

Go to www.shopsbt.com and on this home page you will find a salvage yard link. I got mine from Dockside Marine. I had to call 7 or 8 companies from the before I found it, but for half the price of a new one............

KCFAN what makes you think you need a mpem they rarely go out. Did the engine compartment fill with water or something???
