Then you have a cable or connection issue. If your cables and connections are good jumping the solenoid will make it crank just like connecting from the battery direct to starter.
 
Like I said, then you have a cable or connection issue. The positive cable comes directly from the battery to the solenoid. So if you have no power then your positive cable is bad or the connection isn't clean.Then it is another positive cable directly from the other side of the solenoid to the starter. So again if there is no crank from jumping the solenoid that cable is bad.

Note: by jumping the solenoid we are talking about using a screwdriver or pliers to touch the two copper threaded terminals together.
 
Do you have beeps? Gas gauge? Anything with key on post? See if you have a fuse on computer under front hatch. Should be a 5 amp. Power may feed through the charging stator. If it is shorted, it will pop the fuse to computer and ( sometimes) the fuse in the E-box by battery that solenoid is in. Don't throw parts at the problem. get to the bottom of it first.
