Hi

This will be my first purchase and I am looking at a 2011 Seadoo GTI SE 155 with 13hrs., dealer maintained, with trailer, safety equipment, cover for $11000 all in or a 2013 seadoo GTI SE 155 with 15hrs, no records of dealer servicing, with trailer $11500 all in.

My main question is there any major differences between the two models?

Thanks.

I was thinking the price was high but then I saw you are in Canada. In USA I bought an untitled 2010 GTX for 10 grand and an untitled 09 RXT-X for 9,500. Bought them both in October of 2010.

For that kinda money you better be getting serious warranty and hell....have him throw in maintenance or something...sheesh. Essentially buying brand new skis...the newer of which has 2 more hrs but no records?....big deal...he rode it for a year and barely broke the thing in.

I would buy a new one at those prices. Should be about $12,300 at list and you should be able to negotiate something off. A GTR 215 is about $13,200 list.

I did look a brand new but with trailer, tax, freight I was up to $15000 range.

I would assume you have tax to pay on the used ones unless that's included in your quoted price. All things being equal I'd go with the newest one that you can afford.
