The rubber flaps goes over the airbox "wings" to keep water from the carbs and throttle cable I think. Either side of the exhaust manifold.

Not at my ski to take a pic.

The big washers is from one of the engine exhaust mountings if I remember correctly.....the one close to the mpem side of the engine.

Need a better pic of the 3rd thing.

Check here:

The red part is the oil tank outlet fitting that goes on the bottom of the oil tank.

The other picture, with the red part, is the oil tank level sensor that goes in the top of the oil tank.

Here is a picture of where those rubber flags go on the 950. The right one is tucked in as it should be when you are riding. I pulled the left one out do you can see it.

The rubber piece surrounding where the pipe and exhaust manifold is should be in place as well. Anyone is free to correct me, since I'm new to the 950 motor, but the gasket in this area could leak and spray water directly into the intakes and damage the motor. The rubber cover over the gasket area would at least keep any leaks from spraying outward, the flaps also helped in blocking water from going into the motor.

Thank You……. Could you please send snap a few more pictures of how the rubber pieces are attached and connected
Again thank You for your help

Those thick washers are for the exhaust mounts where they mount to the block.it is used to take away some vibration from the hangers

Here you go on the flap mounting and one close up of the gasket boot.

However.

Listen to Mikidymac, he isn't being talking down when he says wishes you luck and he knows what he is talking about. If you are not familiar with engines, sea-doos and the characteristics of this motor then you are stepping into a complex situation. I am new to this motor, but have years of experience with the older (88-94/5) generations and I realize this is an incredible motor that needs a bit more constant attention over the simple 580/650/720's. Add to that the DI system and you might be stepping into a frustrating money pit.

Regardless, I hope you have success and will offer what advice I can. Just do not cut any corners, be thorough, patient and attentive. I almost killed my fresh rebuild, on the machine in the pics, by leaving a hair too much material on the exhaust valve. I got lucky, no damage and I corrected the situation. Had I not let it warm up on the trailer with the hood open and hovering over the first start I would have missed the slight tick that only appeared once the motor came up to operating temperature and really damaged things once I took the test ride.20220514_115847.jpg20220514_115838.jpg20220514_115831.jpg

The piece that is broken goes inside the oil filler neck. You need good compression good fuel and fuel air pressure; most important you need to get all four injectors cleaned. The flaps go on top of intake, so water doesn't get in engine just a small amount of water will clog the injectors don't waste your money on fuel regulator if you follow all this it will run

It’s coming along great ….. only had to look at the parts diagram 1000’ of times for every nut and bolt 1,5 months later it’s back in the ski and only a few more 100 looks at the parts diagram to complete this project

Any help with where this end of the oil pump cable attaches?A6912263-E0AA-457A-9E05-7E8ED61DAC4A.jpeg
