Hey Chester

Got my driveshaft back today. The guy at the shop recons he got it to a deflection of (slightly out) 0.1mm and the manual states that it can have 0.5mm, hell i hope he is right about what he says.

He said that the shaft is weak as it didn't take much at all to bend it.
Even said that i must be careful as not to drop it as it could go out.
How soft are these shafts anyway.

I think i will still by the one from the guy off this forum.
Just incase.
Well I guess I will have to wait till i put it back as I am now waiting for my pump.

Could I pull the engine back abit so that the driveshaft sits further in the impeller than before.
What is you idea on this?

Thanks

It maybe in the right place... I would see how it looks with the boot on it.

Hi bud

Well hopefully I should have it back by next week friday. How soft are these driveshafts anyway.

I don't know the exact hardness of them. You'll be fine, I get those driveshafts straightened all the time. It usually happens when you suck some rocks or a rope.
