I have a 99 gtx limited. had to put a new motor in it last year along with a new battery. ran great. been in the garage all winter. pulled it out today to clean it as im selling it TOMORROW. i pulled the battery, charged it till full, put it back in, and now i have nothing. i dont even get the beep when the key is connected. ive made sure everything was hooked up, as i didnt unhook anything. battery connections are tight and even tried wiggling and cleaning them. still nothing. i need help please...as im supposed to sell this tomorrow.

thanks in advance,
can even call or text me at 606-344-2216 as im in desperate need of help.

chech the ebox where the red cables go into, there you'll find a fuse holder or 2, check tthose

i checked that fuse, it is good, i did scrape some corosion off of it. i even checked those in the front panel. all are good. now what can i do?

Scraped crap off of it?...install new fuses, first., then take battery to autozone and have load tested, also clean the post and landyard with an eraser.

it just looked like oxidation. battery was charged with a 2 amp charge all day, as it kicked my charger off if it charged any higher. ill try a new fuse, but even though my battery was bought last year and showing fully charged, what do u think the chances of it being bad are? thanks again for you help

and the old gas is BAD!:ack:

Bill..the ski doesnt do anything.

Wirebrush the terminals on battery and grounds. There was just a thread, where a member installed same fuse that had corrosion, he cleaned it still nothing, so replaced it with new, cleaned the fuse housing, and BAMM...ski worked....stupid stuff that can cause major headaches, bud.

guys...just wanted to say thanks a bunch. it was that fuse in the rear coil box...after i looked at it in the light the next day it had corroded all the way through...even though it wasnt blown. changed it and all was good to go.

thanks again
