Need help!!! 2006 GTXsc

My skis have been running great all summer. (2015 GTR & 2006 GTXsc). Late yesterday after a full day of riding, the GTXsc suddenly lost a lot of power and would only go 50mph with no ummph at all.
Took out of the water and noticed a high pitch whining sound after I took the seat off.... Starts fine, runs, just no boost it seems like.
I installed a brand new supercharger with metal washers at 105 hrs and ski now has 170 hrs.
Where should I start diagnosing??? I'm no mechanic and I've never had any issues. New battery, new plugs at beginning of the summer.

Generally, a ski will lose about 20 mph when the SC fails. Remove the SC hoses and look for water in them. See if you can spin the SC wheel with your fingers, it should be VERY hard to do so. Is there water in the engine oil?

I've got the skis in Somerville right now. But checked oil yesterday and no water and the level was fine. I've got a video of the engine running for a bit and you can hear the whining sound.

The reason I asked about water in the oil was, I was checking to see if the Intercooler may have failed...

Since you have no water in the water yours should be good to go.

Can you turn the wheel by hand? It should be very hard to do so.

Ok...I'm going to get the hose that goes from the supercharger to the throttle body and head to Somerville on Thursday. Should I get that bigger bottom hose too just in case? I think it's an air intake hose...
I've watched some videos and it seems like something even I can do [emoji106]
I'm thinking if I don't need one of the hoses the dealership might take it back if it's still packaged?

Why are you getting a hose? Is it damaged or did I miss something?

I would try to spin the wheel first. It will help you determine a direction.

I'm going to get the hose in case it popped off or tore or something. I'm thinking since its 10 years old maybe that'll do it?
If it spins freely, I'll be towing it to a shop to check it out.
Hopefully it's just a loose clamp, or hose popped off, or has a hole in it.
Wouldn't that cause a loss in boost?

Yes, a torn hose or loose clamp can cause the same issues you are having...

Well....the results are in.... Turned out to be a $ 2 problem.
The hose clamp that attaches to the supercharger simply broke in half and caused the hose to slip off of the supercharger output to the throttle body..

Ran to the auto parts store and got a radiator hose clamp and 5 minutes later, all is well!!!

Back to 7660 rpms at 62 mph... Just like new!!
