Need a 240 efi replacement

Bought a 2001 Islandia jet boat with a 240hp efi in it. Long story short, blew a rod and roasted a cylinder. Didn't come through the block though. Trying to get a replacement power head but they insist on having my existing serial number which I can't find to save my life. Found the block number and firing order stamped on the block but no serial. I was told it begins with an OE. Looked everywhere and even used a scope to look where my head couldn't get to. Getting very frustrated that I can't get a new motor!

What I need to know is can I order a remanufactured powerhead based on just the block number? 884-858257 C1.
Or of someone knows somebody who can rebuild my existing engine I'll drive this sucker down to him. (Within a few hundred miles.) Just want to enjoy it again.

Engine serial number should be on the plastic flywheel cover.

The jet pump engines have a special crank spline- different from the outboard version.
