Need 2 x Oil Nipple 420922242

Hi Everyone, I just purchased a 1997 Challenger Single Engine (787). I am doing a complete rebuild and the previous owner unhooked the oil injection and removed the oil nipples that feed oil to the crankcase (replaced them with plugs). I plan to leave the oil injection unhooked but I do want to put the nipples back in and have oil feed from the oil tank. I am in Canada and cannot find these oil nipples anywhere except ebay for $30 each (once you include shipping). Could these be gotten at automotive store or something?

I think the nipples are a different thread than NPT. Maybe BSPT.

I would also suggest hooking up the oil injection system since it is very reliable and you will use so much less oil and the convenience of not pre-mixing.

Hi, thanks for the reply. There are plugs currently in my engine, I removed 1 and I do think the threads are 1/4" NPT. I will confirm and assuming they are, could I just pick up a couple of 1/2" Hose ID to 1/4" Male NPT 90 degree Brass elbow fittings? Is brass ok to use?
