RESTO Mystery Hose. Where does it go?

I replaced the 6mm hose and check valve that comes out of the side of the craft shown in the pictures below. I cannot find where the other end connects. I made the replacement hose the same length as the original and the original came along the side and ends in the carburetor vacinity. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I like the tubing job. Is that Tygon? I had the most difficult experience buying hoses for the oil tank to the rotary valve and return. A little too stiff they were and difficult to get sealed.

I'm not sure of the type. I bought it from OSD Marine. It is the correct mm hose, not US standard size.

I did find another picture of when I got it home, however, it is slightly blurry. It does show that small 6mm hose going down underneath the magneto assembly. battery tray.JPG

What model ski? Looks like a 717 engine but I'm no guru. :) I don't think there are any other hoses on the engine that small that go to the front of the ski. You have the carb feed and return line, The oil pump feed line to the oil pump. The two larger lines to for the rotary valve area and return. I think it is the battery vent line. If you are using a sealed battery I just leave the lines in the skis unused.

The small tube everyone always asks about is the battery vent, not sure if it applies in this case but it normally goes to a through hull fitting to make sure acid isn't just spilling into the bilge.

There would be a check valve in the fuel tank vent.
