I have a sea doo GTX 215 2009. It only has 34 hours. I dont even ride it hard and it died over the weekend. Come to find out it it was system failed. The warranty was up in may. It was 4000 dollars to find out what was wroung they are going to cover this. But they said because mine is a supper charge they have to overhaul the engine at 100 hours is this true

Hold on a second... From the beginning ... How did it die ? Is this a new model of gtx ? Meaning do you have that idrive crap with brake ? And did the dealer charge you $4000 to diagnose it ?????

Was just driving it out of the bay and died

As fare as breaking system I dont know.

Sea doo payed the 4000 dollars to take it apart They Need to get back to sea doo whith what is wrong. They will give sea doo a list of parts and they will decide if and what they will cover.

They charged a Sea doo $4000, that's a nice way of making money, I am surprised how a bombardier let them operate this kind of a dealership that can't even diagnose a simple problem.., I mean you can get a new engine for that much and if I were you I wouldn't go to that place ever again once your warranty expires.... It should take any good mechanic with a proper equipment maximum 1 hour to find out what's wrong, 2 at most if the problem is very serious....

lol, tell them to disassemble their head., what, they don't know how to use a computer ?. You know I just had one of my RXT's die on me the same way... I disassembled everything myself , swapped some sensors and other parts with my other RXT, still was no spark... I took it to my mechanic, he plugged in a computer and in the next 5 minutes he figured out it was a crankshaft position sensor that did not send a proper signal to the ECM. Done...
