My boat is a junk collector!!!!!!!!

I was pulling my family on the lake today and while I was turning I lost all power ,the boat started to shudder and I got a loud continuous beep with the error code P1544. We got towed back in and I put the boat on the trailer and climbed under it . To my surprise or at this point just disgust, I found a rubber shoe(1st time rope/2nd stick/3rd shoe) in my impeller. What kind of damage did it do with this particular error code. Any ideas would be great. Thanks!!!

I bought a 07 RXP yesterday and got the same error at about 20 miles per hour.... so mad... the kid I got it from was an ass. Anyway I am curious to know the damage as well................

There was no damage. I had a small kids water shoe caught in the prop. The lack of water going through caused the engine to heat up causing the alarm. Good luck.

try a different lake...sounds like a landfill.
