muskrats attack!!

Muskrats chewed the speedometer rear cable on my pwc and jet boat. Can this be repaired or must be replaced?

It's just a wire...cut out the damaged area and re-solder a new section in. Use shrink wrap to protect it and make it water proof after your done.
