MPEM failure?

my son accidently hooked up a jump box backwards to our "99 gtx/rfi limited
now, i have no power to the instrument cluster
did he kill the mpem or is there a fuse that may have blown?
where and what should i check?

Backwards usually kills'm. Ya never know until you replace the 5 amp fuse.

But, where is the MPEM and 5 amp fuse located?

anyway, i found the module and the 5 amp fuse
replaced the 5 amp fuse and all is well again

no smoked module here

well, i'm back

now, my ski just clicks when the starter button is depressed
i used a fully charged donor from a boat to try and jump it
(the batt was not even connected to the boat)
nothing but clicking at the solenoid
now, granted, the ski batt is probably not fully charged, but does that make a diff?
donor was very strong
