MPEM/ECO Testing - 2002 GTX RFI

Does anyone know how I can have a MPEM/ECU tested? Can it be sent off somewhere for testing or does it have to be in the jet ski for testing? After a significant amount of diagnostic testing for a GTX RFI that will only run for 5 seconds (see my other post), I'm beginning to believe the problem is with my MPEM/ECU. Before replacing it, I would like to have it tested to see if it is bad.

Unfortunately I cannot test for odd issues. I can test for power up and that it accepts keys, but this I do not think I can verify.

OK, Thanks Minnetonka4me. I'm trying to figure out if the MPEM/ECU is storing any codes that might help me identify the problem. If anyone knows how I can read the stored codes, I would sure appreciate your input!
