Mpem cross referencing 1995 gtx

I have a '95 GTX that keeps blowing the 5A fuse any time i hook up the battery. I assume its a bad MPEM, please correct me if im wrong. However a buddy has 2 extras laying around and i want to know if any of his will work in mine, my #'s 278-001-134; his are the following 278-000-305, 278-000-071. Thank you

The two your buddy have are for the "hot" iginiton setup on the 93-94 XPs 657x and will not interchange.

If he wants to sell them or barter, I do have the one you need in stock.
