pwc1991 New Member Mar 28, 2011 #1 I am wanting to get more horsepower out of my 1991 Seadoo SP. I currently have a single carb (BN-38 SB) on now. would i be able to upgrade to a 40 carb or higher on my 587 motor? or should i get a rebuild kit and clean the one i have on now?

Dr Honda Well-Known Member Mar 28, 2011 #3 A single 40 will be too much carb for a yellow engine. Get a pipe, and run the compression up... and THEN... put on dual carbs.
