Minimum Octane for 2018 GTI 130 SE

Just bought one and the dealer said to put in 89 octane but the owners manual say 87, what should I put in this bad boy especially during the 10 hour break in period?

Just curios what everyone thinks.

Follow the manual. 87. IF you have non ethanol that would be even better.

marinas where I'm at have been using 87 100% gasoline, no issue so far with my older skis. So you should be fine.
