Synthetic...

I'd go with synthetic or synthetic blend if you dont' know what has been run in it in the past.

You can go to synthetic from mineral but not vice vera.

You can use the Quicksilver blend they sell by the gallon at Walmart. Look in the automotive side and make sure you read the back of the bottle and it states that it's recommended by Seadoo.

Some of the Quicksilver brands use the TCW-3 type oils, so stay away from that stuff............

I believe that it has mineral in the tank now if I go with synthetic should I drain the tank or just run it low?

synthetic or mineral?

I picked up a 96 xp, clearly has a sticker on it that states to run seadoo synthetic. """not sure what that heck is in it"" maybe yamalube considering the other jetski the previous owner had was a yamaha. Now 2 summers ago i also picked up 97 xp that also has a 787 rotax oil injection blah blah blah with the sticker on it that says use seadoo sythetic 2 stroke. So in 2007 when I snaged this xp and asked a local brp dealer what i should run in it, he told me to just run the regular xps mineral oil in it?? is that ok. also with this 96 should i pump out this """mystery""" oil and what should i run in it??? i dont like switching
