Still trying to fix 96xp 787.
starts fine every time.
But won't take gas,
I put a primmer on the fuel line with the seat off and with the throttle pulled in then I prime the ball a few times the ski takes off and runs fine as long as I don't let it idle below 2000 rpm then I have to prime again to get it to work.
I used genuine Mikuni parts but seems like the fuel pump it not working correctly.
any thoughts ?

First, remove any additional inline filters and primers from the fuel lie, you only need the OEM strainer.
Check your pulse line to the cases.
Make sure you have no fuel/vacuum leaks from the tank all the way to the carbs.

only filter is the OEM, even tried straight from the tank on res and normal ports
they only way I've gotten it to work is the squeeze the bulb which is about 1foot from the carb
then it runs fine
it just doesn't seem to be able to build enough pressure at first.
with throttle pulled in it just boggs around 2500K rpm them once I build more pressure with the primmer bulb it takes off tops out at 58mph 6870rpm.
all lines are new.
I need to try it with my test fuel bottle and see how that goes.
Ill check the pulse line again.
