Hello. I found a few guys to ride with on another PWC message board but would like to find more local fellow riders.

If you live in Miami and own a PWC post here!

Tell us where you dock out of, what you have and how long you have been riding.

I dock near Haulover, I have a seadoo spark and ive been riding for 3 wks ( yes I'm a newbie but I'm learning a lot)

I like riding out of Japanese Gardens down south by Parrot Jungle.
Its has less no wake zones to get to ocean.
Then ride South to Key Biscayne Stiltsville or further south to lighthouse at Fowery rock.

Or I go to 79th ramp then ride South out of Haulover to go North to Ft.Lauderdale.

I like ocean vs inter coastal rides.
Usually inlet to inlet.

Sounds cool. I really hate those no wake zones. I got a ticket for going 15 miles an hour in one on my first day ever driving my jetski. Even though my bill of sale proved I had only bought it a few days ago the cop didn't care and wrote me a $90 ticket stating that it could carry a $500 fine and that he was cutting me a deal. Pffft. I usually ride out of haulover from the bay side, through the inlet to the ocean then just keep playing in the ocean on both sides of the inlet . I have driven from Haulover down through the bay around the tip of South Beach then back up the ocean side before though. Yesterday I ventured further north in the bay with a friend and found you can dock at Duffys in the bay for food or drink and they have a pool :-)

Wow, there's a welcome
.:ack:

That area is heavily patrolled.
You have the sand bar and beercan island.

There's a small section from green marker to bridge where you go fast only.
Anything north of beercan is No Wake all the way up.

It's nice cruise up intercostal but not if I have to go slow.
I'll stay ocean side. No tickets out there.
:hurray:

Ya I prefer the ocean side too but unfortunately its about a 15 minute crawl to get from Marina to inlet so i can play in the ocean. Its always hard to go slow when you are excited to play and your finger is tired from holding at 2mph without cruse control lol.

I checked out the sandbar Saturday with a friend. I need to buy an anchor. Beer can island I've been by but haven't stopped by yet. I'm working on losing a bunch of weight after a bad car accident and eating total crap when I couldnt walk, but im all better and working towards a bikini body. When that happens ill prob be laying out on beer can island every weekend. i want to get a cool inflatable to chill in and this down the road ... (cards and cocktail anyone?)
