Just bought a Boat with a Mercury 200HP Outboard EFI year 2000, boat started up great every time and would idle no problem, took it out to the lake for the first time and was running good for 10 minutes, once I started to give the boat throttle the temp was rising to 190 creeping up on 200, I heard a long beep and engine shut off, I let the engine cool off and tried to start but would just crank, the motor had a good stream of water running out of it the whole time when it was running so not thinking impeller, the boat still only cranks and checked for spark and don’t have spark anywhere and when I pull the plugs the plugs seem dry so don’t think I’m getting fuel either, I have plenty of oil in the reservoir, tried disconnecting the kill switch aswell but nothing, any help is appreciated thanks
