Members with depth finder

I recently had my dealer add a factory depth finder to my 2022 wake pro and took it out for the first time for the season this weekend. The depth finder is random when it will show a number. If idling it will not show a depth, only when going around 20-30 mph. I’m new to depth finders on a SeaDoo and was wondering what experience other have with theirs. Is this normal? Or do you get a reading all the time? TIA

No, you should get a depth reading especially when stationary or at slow speeds. Often it is the opposite people complain about as you don't get a reading while moving.
