I'm looking for an answer on this question. This is my first Doo and my 2nd ride. I was having to much fun to pay attention to the RPM gauge the first time. 
I noticed that the max RPM I hit yesterday was 7600. Is this normal, or should it go to 8000? Also, what is the supposed top speed of this model?
